What is WBENC certification?

WBENC certification verifies that a business is at least 51 percent owned, controlled, operated and managed by women. It is issued by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, and certified companies are recognized as Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) in corporate supplier diversity programs.

WBENC certification

Why it matters for IT and security teams

Many companies track spending with diverse suppliers. Choosing a WBENC-certified ITAD provider counts toward those goals without giving up technical certifications such as R2v3.

  • A woman holds the highest title and has control in both the legal documents and day-to-day operations.
