HOBI President Moderates Conference Panel on Role of Reuse

HOBI’s president and co-founder, Craig Boswell, is moderating the Role of Reuse as Tech Evolves panel at the E-Scrap conference in New Orleans today. The annual E-Scrap conference takes place Sept. 18-20, with discussions ranging from mobile repair to battery identification. 

Joining Boswell are panelists Manuel de Graca, with Strategic Accounts – Recruitment & Success at Amazon, Walter Alcorn, Vice President of Environmental Affairs and Industry Sustainability at the Consumer Technology Association, and Paul Walker, Senior Director at Samsung Electronics America. 

The panel will discuss the ways electronics manufacturers are integrating product repair and reuse into wider sustainability initiatives, steps repair companies can take to align their services with corporate stakeholders and various resale platforms, and efforts to grow consumer trust around electronics repair and reuse.
