HOBI-Employee Spotlight, Jason R.

When you think of someone who’s been with a company since day one, you picture a pioneer—someone who knows the ins and outs like the back of their hand. For HOBI, that pioneer is Jason Radakovich.

Jason didn’t just join the team—he was the team. HOBI’s first-ever hire has now spent 31 years growing alongside the company, evolving from employee number one to Vice President of Sales and ITAD Services. That’s three decades of handshakes, client calls, and tech transformations—and he’s still going strong.

Before joining HOBI, Jason was crunching numbers in the banking world, specializing in consumer and mortgage lending. However, in 1994, he switched from financial formulas to IT asset disposition and never looked back.

Based in Batavia, Illinois, Jason brings Midwestern charm and reliability to the HOBI headquarters. Originally from Galesburg, he’s stayed true to his roots—and to his Labradors, who you’ll often find chasing him around the backyard.

Outside the office, Jason’s calendar is full of family time, grilling sessions, and the occasional home improvement adventure. When he’s not working in the yard or manning the smoker, you might catch him kicking a ball on the soccer field or cheering from the sidelines—proof that his energy isn’t just reserved for making sales.

Jason’s journey from first hire to vice president is a testament to loyalty, adaptability, and a genuine love for what he does. Whether he’s nurturing client relationships or seasoning ribs for Sunday dinner, he brings the same level of commitment and enthusiasm to everything he touches.

So here’s to Jason Radakovich—HOBI’s original team player, sales guru, tech strategist, and weekend grill master. After 31 years, he’s still scoring goals both on and off the field.
