Every successful company needs a team player, and that’s Dean Snitker. With a heart for the business and a passion for supporting clients, this week’s employee spotlight shines on a man who brings personality and enthusiasm to the HOBI team.
As an Illinois native, Dean is originally from St. Charles, and still lives on home soil where he has served as the Global Account Manager at HOBI’s Batavia location for the past 16 years. Much work goes into client communications, and as the primary point of contact for key international clients, Dean is responsible for managing and cultivating those relationships. In addition to leading the logistics team to ensure efficient, cost-effective equipment transportation, he also develops and implements strategies to meet client needs, helps identify new business opportunities, and ensures the company delivers high quality products and services globally.
Dean’s experience in sales and as a universal banker provided him with the necessary social skills and patience to foster trust and loyalty, and communicate effectively with international clients throughout the process. As the international middle man, Dean actively helps drive business growth delivering tailored disposal solutions and ensuring clients needs are met, making him an integral part of the HOBI team.
Though he loves connecting with people and building relationships with clients, Dean also enjoys the quiet downtime away from the office. Recently married, he and his wife are basking in the newlywed bliss, and even considering expanding their family with a few canine additions.
As someone who understands the importance of meaningful relationships, Dean also enjoys spending time with family and friends. After a long day in-office, he likes to stay active whether it’s exercising or unwinding on a driving range. Interacting with people on a daily basis can be cumbersome, especially when dealing with international accounts, and sometimes reading about people is a much easier task. When not exercising or swinging a club, Dean can often be found relaxing with a good biography in hand.
