Samsung has temporarily cancelled shipments of the Galaxy Note 7, their newest device, to South Korea. The shipments are delayed because of reports of Note 7 batteries exploding, resulting in a need for further testing.

Other global shipments are continuing, so this delay only affects the South Korean market. Regardless of some malfunctioned devices, the Galaxy Note 7 has received positive reviews. Q2 2016 was Samsung’s most profitable quarter in two years, and with the increasing popularity of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung can expect continued sales growth.
