Samsung is anticipated to reveal its Galaxy Note 8 device at an event next month. Sunday, the company sent out formal invitations that told invitees to “unbox their phone,” at an event taking place March 29 in New York City.
TechCrunch released pictures earlier today of what is suspected to be the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung’s new device is rumored to have a 6-inch touchscreen, 12-megapixel back camera, 8-megapixel front camera and iris scanner.
The Galaxy Note 8 is the first high-profile device Samsung has launched since the massive Galaxy Note 7 recall last year. While Samsung has since implemented an 8-point check system to prevent any future design malfunctions, many professionals and consumers may remain skeptical about the new device launch.
