Barnes & Noble’s most recent Nook device is the sleekest to date. The new Nook costs $130 and has waterproof capabilities, meaning users can use their e-reader on the beach or near the pool without worrying about water damage to the device.
The new device has switched from its original plastic back to an aluminium design with a 6.4-inch screen. The battery can last up to six weeks on a single charge, and the device can survive in up to three feet of water for 30 minutes.
Barnes & Noble is also offering a table trade-in opportunity online and in stores. Customers wishing to purchase a new nook may receive $25-$200 in credit after trading in their old tablet devices. For more information regarding device acceptance and value, visit NOOK.com/tradein.
