Microsoft has set the date to unveil new Windows 10 devices for Oct. 6, 2015 in New York. Tech professionals everywhere anticipate upgrades to the Surface Pro tablet, as well as new handheld devices and updates to their fitness band.
The Surface Pro 4 and Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are suspected to be the stars of the event. Images of the Lumia 950 models have been leaked, so it will be interesting to see if the actual models follow suit.
The Surface Pro 4 will most likely be close to the same as the Surface Pro 3 in terms of operation, but possibly not display. Microsoft has promised to keep the charging mechanism the same, but has room to switch up the display and design the device to be thinner and lighter. Microsoft indicates the Surface Pro 4 will be the first of many tablets to replace traditional PCs.
Design updates to the high-tech Microsoft Band are also rumored, as well as a sneak peak at the Hololens. Neither of these products are confirmed, but Microsoft customers are hoping to hear more about a Hololens release date and where to find the Microsoft Band in stores.
