Memorial Day 2023: Remembering Those Who Served 

This weekend HOBI honors Memorial Day by remembering those who lost their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day has been observed on the last Monday of every May since 1970 and continues to be an honored tradition in the United States.  

Unlike Veterans Day, where we celebrate all veterans living and deceased, Memorial Day is specifically for honoring and mourning U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. 

On this day, let us remember the service of our brave veterans who sacrificed their lives so that we can live in freedom. We thank them for their ultimate sacrifice for our country.
