Apple is expected to release the newest version of the iPhone, the iPhone 7, in September. The new device launch follows two straight quarters of decreasing sales, and an overall 15 percent decrease compared to last year’s iPhone shipments.
The new device is expected to see major upgrades to the camera, a new home button that reads multiple types of inputs, and will ditch the headphone jack for good, adopting wireless bluetooth or lightning port headphones instead.
The newest version of the iPhone will see significant upgrades to parts of the device, but nothing too drastic. It’s anticipated that a major overhaul of the iPhone will happen in 2017, the device’s 10th anniversary year.
