IBM intends to continue increasing their security portfolio by acquiring Resilient Systems. The tech giant announced the beginning of the acquisition earlier today.Resilient Systems has developed an Incident Response Platform (IRP) that prepares for data breaches and their fallout.
This platform will be integral in IBM’s new X-Force Incident Response Services, a new program designed to help clients with data breach management. IBM said the new service offerings include incident mapping and abilities to shut down a potential data breach.
