The International Association of IT Asset Managers hosts its annual tradeshow and conference May 9-11 in Nashville, Tenn. This year HOBI’s president and co-founder, Craig Boswell, will discuss how new ITAD services are evolving from the traditional ITAD model during a session called vITAD – The Next Generation of ITAD Services. 

IAITAM Ace is an annual event where ITAD professionals connect and discuss industry trends and obstacles. 

Traditionally, IT asset management revolves around core services like logistics, data sanitization, certification, onsite services, and more. Now, the industry is expanding to adapt to recent changes, and the ITAD community is buzzing with talk of additional services like support for remote workers, ESG reporting, and third-party logistics. 

ESG reporting is a hot topic for the business community as a new industry standard with three focal points centering around environmental, social, and governance policies. ESG represents a significant environmental change in industry standards as more businesses strive to reduce their carbon footprint. Many companies have set more sustainable goals and worked to reduce energy consumption. 

Remote working has continued to be the preferred method for many companies, which means ITAD providers like HOBI must maintain adequate support for remote workers.
