This week marks HOBI’s 24th anniversary! As we celebrate another year of business, I would like to take time to reflect on our growth.
In February 1992, we began as an electronics processor focused on the retrieval and resale of electronic components and environmentally sound recycling of midrange and PBX phone equipment. Through the past 24 years, HOBI has adapted to the industry as well as the needs of our clients and evolved into a superiorIT and mobile asset management service provider in Chicago, Dallas and Phoenix.
HOBI has established itself as a trusted ITAD provider by offering the highest integrity in the processing of equipment ,growing to meet the needs of our clients,and exceeding industry standards. We continue to provide the best, most reliable solutions for all stages of IT and mobile assets’ lifecycles. Our evolution has allowed us to expand our services to include complete environmental disposition of post consumption, manufacturing and mixed electronic surplus and scrap.
We pioneered a system for electronics disposition focused on maximizing economic return and the eliminating potential environmental liability, which has led to the processing of more than 15 million pounds of IT equipment and more than 4 million mobile phones each year.
We continue to expand our service offerings including MobileLife, EASE (Enterprise asset services) and data center management solutions in order to provide the best solutions for our clients, and adapt to the constantly evolving industry.
