Originated from “Armistice Day,” Veterans Day is the first anniversary of the end of World War I, which occurred on the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month of 1918. Congress first passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance and in 1938, Nov. 11 became a national holiday. Unlike Memorial Day, Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans – living and dead – but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime. It is a day that we ensure veterans know how deeply appreciative we are of the sacrifices they have made for our country.
On this Veterans Day, as all others, let us remember the service of our brave veterans who have sacrificed so much so that we can live in freedom. HOBI International Inc., expresses our sincere gratitude to all veterans and thank them for all that they have done and continue to do for our country.
Nationwide, events will take place to honor our veterans. We, at HOBI International Inc., encourage everyone to take part in their local communities to help say thank you to all of these brave and selfless men and women.
