5G is anticipated to generate more than $240 billion in revenue within the next nine years, according to research conducted by ABI. The mass rollout of 5G is anticipated around 2020, and will reach $247 by 2025.
5G is expected to fuel the overall IoT movement. As more devices rely on continual connectivity, the overall development of 5G will gain speed. Major mobile providers, such as Verizon, have already begun setting plans towards 5G network development in motion.
