Cathy Hill

Cathy Hill

Chief Executive Officer

Cathy Hill is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of HOBI International, Inc.. As the founding member of HOBI’s board, Cathy has overseen the growth both operationally and strategically. She continues to be responsible for the day to day operation of HOBI’sBatavia facility. Cathy personally oversees contract negotiations as well as relationships with most of HOBI’s large clientele. Before collaborating with Craig Boswell on the business plan for HOBI, Cathy’s experience included both sales and management in Illinois and Arkansas. Cathy was educated in Naperville, IL receiving her B.A. from North Central College, in International Business, summa cum laude. She also completed her degree at the Alliance Francaise in Paris, France receiving Mention Honorable.

Craig Boswell

President

Craig Boswell is co-founder and President of HOBI International, Inc. In this capacity, Craig has been extensively involved in the design, development, and deployment of electronics demanufacturing and recycling techniques. Craig’s background includes 9 years experience as an electrical engineer for Texas Instruments, Inc.. As a member of Texas Instrument’s engineering staff, Craig managed electronics design projects and was extensively involved in development and deployment of electronics manufacturing techniques. Craig holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, a M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. In addition to his managerial duties, Craig is HOBI’s chief industry consultant on demanufacturing, design for disassembly, and reverse logistics programs. Craig has published and presented numerous papers on the recycling of electronic products and the keys to designing more recyclable products.

H. David Friedman

Director

Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President, and Principal. Since 1981, David founded or co-founded and held inside and independent Board seats of nine companies, four of which traded publicly and whose revenues ranged from $5 million to over $140 million. Additionally, David was a key driver in a NASDAQ I.P.O. for a company he co-founded.

His experience is far reaching and includes full P&L responsibility, deal structuring, manufacturing, corporate start-ups, turn-arounds, capital raises for companies both in the private and public sectors. David has lead companies in all stages of growth, as well as the development and execution of their short and long-term strategies.

Early in his career, David has held major management positions with Fortune 500 companies such as W. R. Grace, Litton Industries, and US Tel, Inc. (now Sprint). Presently, David is a Founder and Principal of Co-Partners, LLC, (www.co-partners.net), a strategic advisory firm located in Dallas, Texas specializing in developing strategies, management, and resources for companies with “liquidity event” potential. He presently serves as an independent member of the Board of Directors of HOBI International, Inc. (www.hobi.com), a “green technology” electronics recycling services company, and, Remedy Ice, (www.remedyice.com), a food supplement company. He also acts an adviser to private equity and merger and acquisition firms.

David received his formal education from the University Of Texas School Of Business, where he majored in business and economics. David is a former Mentor to Akin, Gump, Strauss, and Feld Technology Ventures, a former member of CEO Netweavers, TexChange, and The CEO Institute. David lives in Dallas with his wife Julie, has two grown children, and is a proud Grandfather.

Roger D. Bryant

Director

For more than twenty-five years, Roger has been involved with start-up and turn-around companies in a number of different industries. The companies have all been technology based, having been either developers or users of new technology. There has been a mix of publicly traded and privately owned companies, as well as wholly-owned subsidiaries of Fortune 500 companies. Roger has held senior management positions with these companies, most often that of President and/or CEO, but also operating positions such as COO. He has generally held a board seat as well as the management position.

Roger has broad knowledge of general corporate governance, hands-on experience with debt and equity financings, transition management acquisitions and divestitures. Roger graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Electric engineering with postgraduate courses in engineering and business.

Director

Mr. Holmes has more than 25 years of experience providing financial, operational and executive management services to public and private companies including Intervoice, Inc. (NASDAQ) and Excel Communications, Inc. (NYSE). Mr. Holmes has served on the boards of not-for-profit organizations including The Dallas Summer Musicals and the UTD School of Management and has also served on the boards of several private companies. Mr. Holmes started his career at Arthur Andersen LLP where he was ultimately promoted to Partner. Mr. Holmes received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University.

jack johnson

Jack Johnson

Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Mr. Johnson is a twenty-year veteran of the high tech and communications industry. He has extensive experience in direct sales, channel sales, marketing, and finance. Mr. Johnson is responsible for supply side client acquisition, as well as direct and indirect sales. Prior to joining HOBI Mr. Johnson managed a national sales organization at Telligent Systems, a social networking start-up, and spent 18 years at Nortel Networks, most recently managing wireless sales organizations selling to major US carriers.

Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas Tech University and a master’s in corporate finance from the University of Dallas.

jason radakovich

Jason Radakovich

Director of Purchasing

Jason Radakovich is the director of purchasing for HOBI International, Inc. and works out of the Batavia, IL facility. Jason has 17 years of direct industry experience in the purchasing and remarketing of information technology assets. His primary focus is developing purchasing models and sales channels for our clients surplus IT equipment. Jason holds a BA and MBA from Knox College.

Don Simms

Director of Operations

Don Simms is Director of Operations for HOBI International, Inc. In this role, Don is responsible for day-to-day operations and development and implementation of strategies and processes to improve operational effectiveness. He has over 20 years experience in manufacturing, logistics and project management with the last 14 years at Nokia. In Nokia, Don held various leadership roles in manufacturing engineering and operations and was a member of several global teams. He supported a number of start-ups including operations in Mexico and Brazil. Don holds a B.S. in industrial technology from the University of North Texas.

steve wilson

Steve Wilson

Director of IT

Steve Wilson is Director of Information Technology for HOBI International, Inc. and principal database architect of HOBI’s initial data structure. In this capacity, for over 13 years, Steve has been extensively involved in the design, development and deployment of the data structure for HOBI. Steve’s electronic background began in 1960 and includes over 7 years experience in Special Projects for the United States Air Force, USAF, his specialty was airborne radar and navigation systems. During Steve’s 30 years experience at Texas Instruments he worked a variety of disciplines ranging from test, test and assembly supervision, hardware design, production integration and sustainability. This variety of assignments included being on the original design team of the highly successful Harpoon Missile System as well as being a member of the original design team for the very successful DLP projector system. It was during the DLP period that Steve transitioned to database design.
